If you sign up for the email list, we collect your email address (and name, if provided). If you contact us through the site, we collect whatever you include in that message.

Like most websites, Recess After Work uses tools such as Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, time on site, general location (city or region level, not precise), device and browser type. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies, not through anything you actively provide.

- To send the email newsletter, if you've subscribed
- To understand which content is useful so we can write more of what's actually helpful

Recess After Work is written for adults (parents), not for children, even though the content is about parenting. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and it will be removed.
